Penha works differently. Only 2 boats are allowed at the reef at a time, keeping the environment preserved and the experience intimate. The waters are the same — warm, clear, with fish around — but the pace is different.
We leave from Penha Beach (south of João Pessoa) and in 10–15 minutes we're at the pools. Departure set by low tide. You just enjoy.
Boarding is at Penha Beach, at the southern tip of the João Pessoa coast, away from the bustle of Tambaú and Cabo Branco. The departure point already has a different vibe: quiet beach, village rhythm, open sea.
The crossing to the pools is short — 10 to 15 minutes. Once the catamaran anchors, the reef is already exposed. Warm waters, clear floor, fish nearby. With a limited number of boats around, the silence is bigger, the water clearer, and you can hear the waves and the wind.
The catamaran has an onboard bar, restrooms, sound system and safety gear. Snorkel and mask optional. You stay in the pools until the tide starts rising — around 3h total experience.
