The Classic North Coast Itinerary takes you to three landmarks in Cabedelo — the Sea Turtle Nesting Reserve, Cabedelo Dike and Fort Santa Catarina — and wraps the day on the Paraíba River banks with Ravel's Bolero played live by Jurandy do Sax.
We pick you up in the morning in Tambaú, Cabo Branco, Manaíra or Bessa. All led by an accredited guide, round-trip transfer included.
The morning starts at the Sea Turtle Nesting Reserve — in season, you can see nests protected by the Tamar Project. A short but meaningful stop that sets the tone for the day.
Next, the Cabedelo Dike, where the Paraíba River meets the sea. The contrast between fresh and salt water is visible, and the landscape is unlike anything on the south coast.
Fort Santa Catarina follows: a colonial fortification built by the Portuguese, with cannons and walls still preserved. The guide tells the story without rushing.
Lunch is in Cabedelo (not included — several options, fresh fish and shrimp). Then the afternoon is dedicated to the Jacaré Sunset.
We arrive before sunset so you can pick a good table. The catamaran boards from there (optional, R$ 90 extra) and sails the Paraíba River. When the sun touches the horizon, Jurandy do Sax climbs onto his canoe and plays Ravel's Bolero — a scene he's been repeating for over 20 years. Even without the catamaran, you can listen from the shore.
